Ulverstone Boarding Kennels & Cattery is a family-owned and operated business. Ric and Jeri Van Schie have been running the business since 2004. They are life-long dog lovers and have two 2-legged children along with twelve 4-legged children. Both Ric and Jeri believe that if you find a job that you love, you never have to work a day in your life again. You can rest assured knowing that your pet children will be happy with them. They have also been showing and breeding Siberian Huskies for over 20 years as a part of Arctickara Kennels.

    Yes, we have heating in the cattery.

  • What about air conditioning?

    Not called for, as we have fans and sprinklers if it gets too hot. Our location is close to the sea, the weather is moderate and ideal.

  • Can I bring in bedding or toys from home?

    Yes, bedding can be brought in. However, health conditions (Covid-19) pending need to be taken into consideration.

  • Do you offer short-term stays?

    Yes, we offer both short-term and long-term stays.
